Bokkenshop was at first just one of the product categories for the Tozando Online Shopping, but due to the increase of more specialized bokken and other related items, the category was separated from the Tozando and opened as bokkenshop.com.

How is Bokken made...


1. Sun drying Each plank is dried in the sun for over one year	2. Line Drawing Draw a shape in smaller plunk

3. Cutting Cut the plunk in small pieces	4. Thickness Adjustment Cut into the same size

5. Shaping Approximate shape is determined	6. Tsuka Adjustment Set the Tsuka shape

7. Plane Adjust the surface of the bokken	8. Sanding Using the multiple sanding papers

9. Finishing Touch Lacquer process is applied when necessary
