  • How much is the shipping cost to my country?
    • The shipping cost is based on the total weight of a parcel we ship to you and on which region the parcel is delivered to. To view the shipping cost quickly, add your order in the shopping cart and choose which region you would like it shipped to. You can always delete the item in the shopping cart unless you check it out.
  • How do I pay for my order?
    • We take VISA, Master Card, American Express, JCB for credit card payment. Please choose Pay by Credit Card option when checking out the shopping cart then you will be required to fill in all necessary information.

      If you wish to pay by money order, please make sure if it is "International Postal Money Order" which can be obtained at most local post offices. In some countries like U.S. and Canada, the International Postal Money Order may not be issued in Japanese currency. If that is the case, please use the currency converter and make it in US$ or C$.

  • I received a message from you, saying "Your credit card information has been declined". What does it mean?
    • It means we are unable to process your order because your credit card account is not activated for the international transaction and/or it already exceeds your monthly limits set by the bank or the issueing company. To resolve the situation, you may contact the bank or the issueing company to activate your credit account international(either temporarily or permanetly).
  • Can I pay by cash?
    • Although we do not much recommend the method, you may send cash for the payment of your order. Please make sure to send it in a registered mail.
  • Is C.O.D.(cash on delivery) available for an international order?
    • Sorry C.O.D. is not available for the international order. It is available only for an order shipped in Japan.
  • Can I pay by Paypal?
    • Yes you can, but we are not allowed to show the payment option on the shopping cart due to the Paypal policy. Please send your order directly to bokkenshop and we will inform you the total amount and the email address you need to send the payment to.
  • How soon do you ship my order?
    • If the ordered item is in stock, we will ship the same day by Express Mail Service. In case not in stock, it usually arrive in five to seven business days and upon the arrival we will then ship right away.
  • How long does it take to receive my order?
    • It takes two to three days between ports of Japan and most of countries. It may then take additional days for the custom clearance and the ground transportation.
  • Can I exchange or get a refund if I am not happy with my order?
    • The return is accepted only in unused condition. If you would like to return your order, please inform us prior to the shipping so that we will give the return authorization. Then you should return the package in ten days after the receipt.
  • I had to pay the import duties to receive my order. What can you do about it?
    • Payment of duties and taxes are required when you make a purchase from another country, thus they are paid by the recipient of the goods."
  • I received my order in damaged condition. What can I do?
    • Please keep it in the original box and report the carrier immediately and inform us at the same time. We will give you the further instruction for you to receive the replacement and/or the repair.
  • I received my order but my credit card has not yet been charged.
    • We request to charge your credit card after we ship your order. There will be, thus, several weeks lag until you are actually billed.
  • I want to pay by credit card for my custom order bokken. I don't want to provide the credit card number by email. How do I give you my credit card information?
    • We do not recommed you to provide your credit card information by email. Please fill in the followings and submit.
